My students use notes with the iPads, but it would be great to use Evernote. I believe that Evernote is the App that is used with the Livescribe pens. I will have to check it out for sure. My students use these pens as an auditory device, but if their notes and recordings could be uploaded from the pens to the iPads that would be awesome. , I would be interested in learning more about Livescribe pens and the iPads compatibility.

I use Bell Ringers daily, and Wonderopolis “Wonder of the day” looks like a great way to get my students thinking and writing. This will be a spring board to writing in my English classes as well. I am going to try it today.

[...] Facebook Groups are another option for sharing and learning from others. eMINTS has their own Facebook group where these Networked Teaching & Learning posts are shared but also other resources. Anyone belonging to the group can share on the eMINTS group page as well. Members can add posts, links, share photos/video, conduct polls, and upload files. If your team members already have Facebook accounts and are ready for an group online presence to do these kinds of things, maybe creating a Facebook Group is the answer for you. If you need some help there are very easy steps to follow and you can even set privacy settings to allow only your Friends in your group. Learn more about Facebook Groups from Facebook or from a post from Zac back in August 2011. [...]

I started using Drive last week when I needed to share a HUGE presentation file with a colleague across the state. It was way to busy to email and she needed it that day. I uploaded the Keynote (much like PowerPoint) to my Drive. Once uploaded, I shared it with her. She was able to download it in full and begin using it within the afternoon. I will admit it took longer to upload than I thought but it was a very big file.

Great new use of my Google Docs/Drive...thanks for sharing Zac.
